Diocesan Men’s Retreat

Open to all guys ages 16 and up

We will start Friday at 5pm and end before noon on Sunday..you will be home in time for football...its ok!

Join guys from around the diocese for a weekend of good food, good fun and good fellowship. 

Our speaker for the weekend is the Rev. Rob Sturdy. Rob is the Anglican Chaplain to the Corps of Cadets at The Citadel where he directs the St. Alban's Anglican Chapel and teaches philosophy. He holds a PhD in historical theology from the Evangelische Theologische Faculteit, in Leuven Belgium, and also degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary and Oxford University. He married his high school sweetheart, Stephanie, with whom they have two children. If you can't find Rob at the office, it probably means the surf's up, but he won't tell you where.

What to Bring to Camp Wingmann

·      Single Bed Linens and a blanket or a Sleeping Bag

·      Pillow, Towels

·      Personal toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, hairbrush or comb)

·      Closed toed shoes

·      Pants, and/or shorts (depending on your personal thermostat!) 

·      swimwear and beach towel, if you will be using a kayak.

·      Bible

·      Sunscreen

·      Bug spray

·      Flashlight

·      Sun hat or baseball cap

·      Camera

·      Rain Gear/Poncho

·      Plastic bag for wet swimsuit and towel

·      Camp chair for outside activities
